wrote the da vinci code. it was good, though not quite as thought provoking
as da vinci. it seemd more like a fictional book than da vinci was, like da vinci was
more feasible

I read both of those books in Jr. High and now we're reading them both this year for English. Both of them are excellent, though.

Megamorphs(#1): The Andalite's Gift
It's a great book series, if old, but still worth checking out. About 5 human kids and one Andalite, think of a Centaur (Half Man/Half Horse) with the tail of a scorpion and 4 eyes, two in the normal place, his head, then two mounted on stalks kind of like a snail that are capable of moving 360 degrees so that they can see behind, that have the ability to acquire animal DNA and "morph" into them, which is basically transforming into the animal itself. Then an evil alien species called the Yeerks, a bunch of parasites that look like slugs but can stretch themselves out to fit into a human ear and spread itself over our brains and take control of our bodies start invading Earth. The whole series is about the Animorphs, the name of the group of the 5 kids and Andalite, fighting and putting up a resistance against the Yeerks so that they don't take over Earth.
Also, I'm reading Captain Underpants as always. I never get tired with the book, also another series. So what if the intended reader for the book is a Grade 4 student. I bet there are other people like me in Grade 10 who read it...I hope.
