Funny People.
Decent film, it is a fairly touching drama. The film is not a comedy but it has it's funny moments. The only negative I can think of is that it drags on way too long.

Do you think the title is misleading then?

Maybe but I personally didn't assume it was a comedy because a lot of comedians lead really sad lives off stage.

Inglorious Basterds- another great film by Tarantino.

Indeed, it's definitely a mixed bag too with action, comedy and drama in equal doses, never a dull moment.

Yeah, that movie about Andy Kaufman was pretty depressing too.

The Return

Wasn't scary like I thought it'd be.

Saw The Invention of Lying at a pre-release event down at UBC a couple of weeks ago. Really funny stuff, but it degrades in the later half by falling into the typical romantic comedy spiel.

NOTICE TO DIRECTORS: It's been done! stop repeating the same romantic comedy stuff over and over and over again. This movie could've been ace, instead I only give it a B-

I saw Paranormal Activity the other day. Good fun! That movie was a blast, it was just the right amount of scary and was quite original. Definitely worth checking out.

That Hangover. Pretty funny, I think. Cheap humor, though
