people said back in 1981 that florida was going to sink under water forever, but were still here

People are paranoid, Scientists get paid to think up crazy !@#$%^&* about the world and people take it in.
Scientist- A meteor will hit earth on the 3rd of September
Government- Heres money to go with your research on the meteor

Then 3rd of September come and the world is safe
