Go to www.downloads.com and type in limewire, get the free version, then instal it and your away. this is the easiest interface to use for begginers. there r others 5 major ones in fact listed in order of useage - 1.kazzar 2. morpheus 3.imesh 4. limewire. 5. bearshare, so download away - and have fun

thought i would add a bit to this post. for all you wingers out there thinkin u might get into trouble for downloadin movies (aka think its illegal) . Well its legal for a few reasons 1st its classed as "file sharing" , aka free speach, laws havent caught up to digital media yet , and proberly wont for a while either, so its legal FOR NOW heheheh

Thousands upon thousands of people have been sued already by the music industry’s representative against privacy, the RIAA. Few more people have also been sued for downloading illegal copies of movies. Are you not familiar with the term “copyright infringement”?

Those are not the only filesharing programs available. In fact, Kazaa is full of viruses these days, I would guess 50% of all files there are viruses. Besides I don't think it's very fast, either... people there have uploads on what, 1 Mbps?

It IS illegal to download copyrighted material, even parts of it.
