And, I like FF: X the best, lots of game play, nice graphics, sound rocks, etc.

I got bored of FFXII too fast, I wasn't a fan of gambits and I thought that you needed a liscense for everything was just silly. I'll take a more traditional Final Fantasy like VI, VII, or VIII any day of the week.
on a side note, feel free to increase the date of topics shown and check out some of the older topics that are in the forum, if you see something interesting bump it up.

I kinda like the gambits! I mean, I'm very minimalistic with them. I think each player has 3. Two for regular playing, and one for when they're fighting flying monsters. The license board thing doesn't seem too bad *shrug*
Once you get golden amulets to double how many LPs you get, it's not really a bother.

I kinda do like the License boaard makes the game a bit harder i think.

Is anyone excited about FF13?
I'm super excited about it, even though I thought XII was a flop. I think it's interesting that they're making two games simultaneously (Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII) with two different developtment teams. Which one do you think will be better?
Also, I'm still sad that Nobuo Uematsu (the main composer from the first game right up to XI) is gone, but at least they're not using the compser of XII anymore.
I'm excited to see Yoko Shimomura (composer of Kingdom Hearts 2) as the composer for Versus XIII, her work on KH2 was outstanding - her remakes of the Disney tunes and the original pieces she made for the game.
I'm interested in what the composer of XIII will do as well. For that one they have Masashi Hamauzu, he's done some work on a couple of Final Fantasy games alongside Uematsu. He's got a very unique and strange style, I'm curious to see how pulls it off.

You know it sister!
I can't wait till its finally released. Even though it is a PS3 Exclusive, I can just get my brother to
tell me about it when he buys it. I own an Xbox 360, so I can't buy FF13 obviously.....

It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but they are not going to release the PS3 version (which I'm buying) until the 360 version is completed, and Square is saying that they are not even going to start porting it to the 360 until the PS3 version is complete!
Ahh! that's months I'm going to have to wait just so they can have a worldwide release!
