YEah. It looks pretty awesome alright. I like the way the camo changes automatically when you're pressed up agains a wall or something. And the graphics are simply amazing. I alwasy liked MGS games but never got further that MGS2. There were so many cut scenes that it put me off the game a bit. I'll have to go buy snake eater at some stage.

But back to the trailer, well, i am impressed with the graphics and all that, but it just doesnt really appeall to me that much. It just seems like the same MGS gameplay with a few extra bells and whistles added on. NOw i do hope there's a lot more to the game, but from the trailer i wasn't left with a feeling of wanting to buy it. Especially seeing as a PSŁ also costs 600 euro as well. No doubt it loogs great, and the way snake and the other characters move is a lot more realistic and fluid looking. Also, I's great that they have included a FPS mode where you can walk around as well. In MGS2 you could only stand still. But in spite of all that, im still left saying "meh, so what."
My Photoblog - check it out. Im new to the whole blogging this but sure ill give it a shot.

First thought when I watched it live during the Sony E3 press conference: *orgasm*

Second thought: It's looking fantastic, but still not enough to warrent me buying a PS3, there are some more promising exclusives coming out on the system, and for a period of about 24 hours after they announced the $100 price drop I was considering buying one. Then Sony annouced they are discontinueing the now $100 lower model in favour of an 80gb HD model which is priced at... guess what? $100 more than the current 60gb model! Yay.

So ya, screw Sony, I'm not going to feel pressured into buying one.

I alwasy liked MGS games but never got further that MGS2. There were so many cut scenes that it put me off the game a bit. I'll have to go buy snake eater at some stage. Luckily for you MGS3 has fewer and better cutscenes than MGS2.

But back to the trailer, well, i am impressed with the graphics and all that, but it just doesnt really appeall to me that much. I like how the guy says it is gonna set in the battlefield, I think it's gonna give the game some more excitement. I also like the beginning where Snake is being a statue. I am really impressed by the whole thing.

Zelda Doesn't get old. Its possibley the the greatest series of games in existence. much better than MGS for sure. And it has miles better story lines and characters than the MGS games.

Tony Hawks is a bit crap. I dont like it anymore. Same old same old. And i haven't played Super Smash Bros much. Only a very small bit.

Fair enough MGS4 does look phenomenal. The graphics are excellent. It just deosnt make me want to buy the game let alone a PS3 as well. Its got some new nifty features such as the little robot and the adaptive camo. But in spite of this im still left with a feeling that it could have offered more. Maybe its just only a demo and the storyline might be awesome. Something on a Par with MGS1 would be fantastic. Still the best in my opinion. But from the video, It just doesn't impress me much. There's still a whole load of other games i would rather buy instead.

I won't argue that the Zelda series is the best, but it really doesn't have much depth in story(I haven't played Twilight Princess so I don't know about that one). I do think they give enough story though to let your imagination run wild. MGS does have depth in its story. The games, though not directly, deal with world affairs such as nuclear warfare and etcetera, but it does it in a pacifist way making it seem unlike all the other macho shooter games and that is why I think it's special. And I really love the gameplay, I think it feels Nintendo quality, but maybe that's just me.

I do agree with everyone, this game alone won't make me want to buy a PS3, more good games and I might consider it.
