I know this game is a tad old nowdays, but it is still a good FF game to discuss. I know it was the only Final Fantasy sequel of its kind, (God Bless It!) But it had so many highs and a few lows, in my personal opinion. I thought it was the best FF game since Final Fantasy 12.
I just wanted to list for y’all, what I thought was the good and bad points, about this epic a** game.
Good
* The main leads (characters) are all chicks!
Girl power all the way baby! (I was gettin’ a tad sick and tired of seeing all male dominated RPG games.)
*The dress sphere system was just so awesome a** and set
a new benchmark, in everyday RPG Battle Systems.
* It was just so girlie. I love girlie games!
(We need more of these in RPG games, for real!)
Bad
* The all mighty “Blitzball” was absolutely ruined. (Like what the heck!?)
Leave it as it was in FF 10. (Way to ruin a great a** mini game guys!) For shame!
After seeing my thoughts on FF-X2, what do y’all think of this sweet a** FF game?
Be Honest! (Lying is a sin and you will be punished by the ever wise and all knowing God, for
doing so. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!)
Thanks a bunch for listening to us and long live FF 4 Life!

Never played it, and never want to. Not after seeing that God awful commercial where Yuna is singing in a pop band. Geez, that made cringe!

Everything Chazz says is both a lie and the complete truth. You can spend your entire life trying to understand how this could be so, but your head would explode exactly 97 seconds before you achieve your goal.

That was the best part of it all! I loved it when Yuna was singing.
Those were great times for everybody concerned.

I played it a bit, bit didn't like how it wasn't linear, but also wasn't completely open-ended. Because of that it lacked both the story that a linear game benefits from, and the gameplay that an open-ended game can benefit from.
It could have had a much better story, and also should have had better gameplay. Since the team didn't even need to create a new world they should have had plenty of time for this. Still, Rikku is hawt so it's all swell.

Your spot on of course with what you said man. I thought those were issues with the game itself as well yeah?
But I didn't think of it as much of a big deal really. Long as it was "girly" it was all good nevertheless.
I usually look for things like you mentioned. But not in this case.
