Americans, what are you all doing today?

Non-americans, when do YOU celebrate your country's independence, and how?

Going to have a cookout and enjoy blowing stuff up. Also celebrating my father's birthday, which is tomorrow (I'm pretty sure it's tomorrow, at least).

EVERYwhere?

Though I think they are a lot more strict about it in the big cities. In hick towns, there's a firework stand almost on every other corner

My 4th of July was interesting. I spent my time at an Anime Convention in LA. When I drove home later that evening on the freeway, there were fireworks everywhere on either side. It was frickin' awesome.

Nice! What animes are you into?

For my 4th, I played tons of Halo 3, swam, and saw fireworks.

Well we have Australia Day and I don't really celebrate it, but for those of us that do
we have BBQ's paint ourselves up green and gold and just have lots of fun and stuff.

that's the gist of it.

It's my step-brothers that are OBSESSED with anime. I was chilling with them over the July 4th weekend and ended up taking one of their passes and going to AX'09 because someone got sick or something.

I, personally, loved FMA; watched a ton of Inuyasha until it became awful towards the ending; really liked Trigun; and I'm watching FFVII: Advent Children right now. Loved Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke... other than that, I haven't watched enough to consume my life, you know?

I read the Death Note manga and am currently reading a series called "Kieli". So yeah. I'm not deeply into anime yet, although my brothers downloaded a crap load of series onto a memory drive for me to watch. Maybe they'll really capture my interest soon and get me to use anime as an item to fill the black hole of loneliness in my heart like them, haha.

That was a really long reply.

Those black holes of lonliness really suck, huh?

I'm currently in the process of watching Elfin Lied. On the 7th episode, I think. Friggin bloody

1) xbox live: metroid dragon
2) that series is messed up in a good way; a good show but could have been better.
