What's your living situation?

This topic crossed my mind as I'm eating salmon on a bagel with cheese baked on top for dinner... again. and realized that I don't have too much knowledge in the way of cooking. Having parents to cook for you is nice.

My girlfriend cooks too though, which is awesome, because I'm quite incompetent at it. cool.gif

Oh god.

A week ago, I was living with my girlfriend and her aunt. Currently, my gf and I are living in a hotel. Hopefully, by Sunday, we will be renting out someone's room. Then, hopefully (again), in about a month we will be living in our own home.

I would offer you a floor but I doubt you're anywhere close to Vancouver =P

I live in an apartment with my boyfriend. We're in college and we're broke because I don't have rich parents to pay my rent for me.

I don't think anyone on this board does =P I have it relatively well off since I'm renting off my friends mom so I get a good deal. Plus since I worked full time for 4 years between high school and post secondary I built up some decent reserves which will help me through the first year or two of school. Been thinking of picking up a part time job, maybe a barrista... hmm.

My apartment is pretty small and connected to a building where a construction company keeps their tools and random crap. I think my apartment used to be their offices or something. I don't have a washer or a dryer, which is annoying but I just go to the laundromat or my family's house. I live right across from the police station so I have to park in their spare parking lot. I have a pretty weird place haha I get a good deal though--I pay $470 with lights, water, and garbage included...and I have no close neighbors really so it's quiet. And it only takes me about 10 minutes to get to work and to school.

I live in a house with my father, step-mom, and four other kids.

Then again, I'm 17 and inching close to moving the hell out. qx

Living on your own is fun but having to pay for everything gets old.
