I'm absolutely loving it, but I skipped by Vista completly, I didn't like vista at all and got my W7 lappy week of release. It's basically what Vista should have been. The new taskbar is amazing, and it uses a lot less system resources to do more than Vista. It's not mind-blowing changes, so I wouldn't bother unless you need a new computer or find a good deal on a copy of W7, then it's totally worth it.

I recently installed 7 on my brothers computer, the reason being is that whenever something goes wrong with his computer I'm the one that gets called in to fix it, and this went on quite a lot when he had Vista. I finally got fed up with it when he updated Vista and the stupid thing made to where all the .exe files (program files) were opened by Adobe Reader, which cannot handle those files nor can this be changed by right clicking the file or using the control panel. So an illegal torrent download and a burned DVD later I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (which costs $300, didn't pay a penny
Not to mention it's faster, more manageable, and looks a hell of lot cooler.
