-----------------------------------------

So many people seem to be asking, "How do I post a picture?" these days. Well I have an answer to that question. Listen as I give simple step-to-step rules! I make taking screenshots FUN!

------------------------------------

How to take a screenshot for Apple Computers:

Some Apple keyboards have a Print Screen button...

apple + Shift + 3 (prints whole screen)

apple Shift + 4
(cursor to select area for screen-shot)

apple + caps lock + Control + shift 4
(shot of selected window)

--------------------------------------

How to take a screenshot for a PC:

Print Screen/SysRq

(Key is between the F12 and Scroll Lock keys on most keyboards)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

THE REST OF THE RULES APPLY TO APPLE AND PC'S!!!

1) Paste the picture in Paint/Adobe/PSP/any other art program.

2) Resize it to an appropriate size by cropping it.

Paint Crop: Open Paint. Paste the picture. In the Tool Box, you will see a square made up of dotted lines. Highlight the part that you want in your picture. Right-click in the box you have just made. Select "Copy To". Save it.

Adobe and PSP crop: Select the crossbow thingamajig in the Tool Box. Highlight a box around the part of the picture that you want. Double click.

3) Save the picture. Preferably as a jpeg., gif., png., or bmp.

4) Go to an image hosting site. Here are my favourites. http://www.iownjoo.com , http://sighost.fxp-matrix.org/upload/ , http://www.imageshack.us , http://www.photobucket.com , and http://www.villagephotos.com . You can also use a web-hosting site, but make sure it allows remote linking.

5) Press Browse on the Image Hosting Site.

6) Select the desired picture to upload. Then upload the picture on to the server.

7) It will tell you the link to the picture or how to get the link of the picture.
