We, the Mods, GMods, and Admins, in order to form a more perfect forum, establish limits, insure domestic non-annoyance, provide for the common member, promote the general rules, and ensure the blessings of browsing, to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this new rule for the United Threads of Spynets.

We are inforcing a new sig limit rule. Your ENTIRE signature may not be wider than 10 inches (25 CM) (it cannot horizontally extend the screen), or longer than 5 inches (12.5 CM). in other words:

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Picture size does not matter, as long as your sig is under the limit.

You have 5 days to make sure your sig is smaller than this, otherwise, we will PM you, asking you to change it. You have 2 days after the PM is sent to change it. After that, your sig is gone. And if you put it back, your posting rights will be taken away for a short period. If you continue to show irresponsibilty with your sig, I'm sure the admin CP has an option to disable you from having a sig at all. Thank you.

KK, since peeps be having like different resolutions, I made this guide.

1. Right click on your desktop, but not on any icons.
2. Select "Properties"
3. Select the "Settings" tab. There you should have the option to change your resolution. The furst number corresponds to the width of the screen. The higher the number, the "wider" the screen is, making objects appear smaller. The same is true for the second number, which corresponds to length, and the higher the number, the smaller the objects.
4. Match each number up with the chart I have prepared myself.
5. The measurement next to the number that matches the screen indicates the desired maximum size of your signature for Nune World Games Forum. (The first group of numbers corresponding with the width of the signature, the second group of numbers corresponding with the length (or if it helps you to better understand, although geometrically incorrect, the height)). Measurments are rounded to the nearest quarter-inch, or half-centimeter.

First number: (Width)
800 - 11.5" (29.5 CM)
1024 - 9" (23 CM)
1152 - 8" (20.5 CM)
1280 - 7.25" (18.5 CM)

Second number: (Length)
600 - 5.25" (13.5 CM)
720 - 4.5" (11 CM)
768 - 4" (10.5 CM)
864 - 3.5" (9.5 CM)
960 - 3.25" (8.5 CM)
1024 - 3" (8 CM)

This guide will help to ensure that all members are enforced with the same laws. I hope it has been helpful.

I think it would be better if the limit was measured in pixels.

Up here in Canada, we don't have imperial system rulers. We have metric system... so that would be kind of tough.

it's not only in Canada, i think U.S. is one of the only civilized countries in the world not on the metric system.

10 inches is about 25CM
5 inches is about 12.5CM

I'll add that to the first post.

So you group all the 'big powerful people' with the first quote, then add me on the bottom with the second, eh? It doesn't matter, the sheer brilliance of those captivating words shall let my worth show through

At first I only listed the people who acctually helped with the rule, but then I put in your quote cuz it was so cool, and I think it is a very good alternative to Sigosuction.

Signatures must meet the limits by tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:00 noon EST. (it's 7:41 here now, compare that to the time it say this post was posted right above the text, this will only work if you have your personal time correct.)

Actually, it's not too big for me. It's about 12 cm. .5 cm away from the limit.

I think we should make it 10cm for the limit. 12.5 cm still takes up about my whole screen on 1024 x 768 resolution.

Instead of enforcing limits, why don't you just tell the people who have a big sig?

We have told them.

Putting limits on sigs will prevent people from putting big sigs in the future. If they do, then we delete them.
